Empowering Positive Change Through Education Technology
Children with learning disabilities such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia or Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, Attention Deficit Disorder, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD or AD(H)D) do not have sufficient digital learning resources available to them. Where available, it is generic and not person-centered nor curriculum-based neither does it rest on Artificial intelligence.
“No child, irrespective of their needs, should be left out of having access to digitally-enabled learning resources. This belief has inspired the creation of the Global Lifelines (GL).”
The current solutions are not robust enough to address the market need of over 350,000 children and young adults living in the United Kingdom and another 2.3m globally.
Our solution is taking existing applications further by ensuring all resources provided are person-centered,and curriculum-based powered by adaptive & assistive technology. In addition, our applications will draw insights from its usage and share them directly with their parents or carers to monitor their progress while also making learning recommendations.
“One of our key strategies to address the market gap is to offer our applications free of charge to the children to be funded by grants and donations.”
In the UK with about 10% attending special schools. In England 2019/20, 9.3% of pupils with SEN attended special schools (gov.uk, 2020); In Northern Ireland, this figure was 9.8% (DENI, 2021), and In Wales, the figure was 5.3% (StasWales, 2020) and in Scotland, it was 6.8% (Scottish Government, 2021)
“There is a huge gap in the provision of special needs educational learning resources to those who require it across the United Kingdom and beyond. The need is enormous and in dire need of our intervention.”
“Our goal is to revolutionize the availability and delivery of person centered, educational resources to children with learning disabilities as the world’s largest provider in the UK and beyond by 2030.”
