Our range of hydrographic equipment available to rent across the globe includes, current meters, data acquisition and processing technologies, depth sensors and altimeters, inclinometers, motion sensors, sidescan sonars, single and multi-beam echosounders, sound velocity calculators, surface positioning, sub-bottom profilers and water level and tide gauges, as well as winches and handling systems.

The engaging material is presented by our experts, and participants will be able to interact with them and their course colleagues just like in a traditional classroom setting – but without having to travel anywhere! Smart Benson, is a seasoned Project management consultant and a hydrographic survey specialist with two decades of experience working in the oil and gas fields across the globe. As a hydrographer, his knowledge of the underwater environment, global positioning systems and navigation systems are exceptional. He is also a well-grounded project management consultant, who is skilled and experienced in the application of project management methodologies and tools to see a programme or project to successful completion. Smart has been involved in multifaceted projects including but not limited to measuring and mapping underwater surfaces and studying the morphology (construction) of the ocean floor, showing the depth, shape and contours. He specializes in precise positioning, data acquisition and processing in onshore or offshore marine environments. He has executed several projects where charts and related pieces of information were produced for navigation, dredging, offshore oil and gas well identification, positioning of offshore wind farms, oil platforms and subsea cables Installation, and much more. He works with Global Lifelines Energy as a project manager, hydrographer and trainer.
